Scottsdale Motorcycles is the new chapter of a 44 year legacy.

For four decades, Gary Underhill built this dealership into the heart of motorcycle retail and service in North East Tasmania, the only one of its kind for more than 10,000 square kilometres. In July 2026, Joe Brooks and Natasha Kerrison took ownership, renaming Scottsdale Suzuki to Scottsdale Motorcycles and stepping into a business they're proud to carry forward.

Tash's family has called Scottsdale home for generations, until work eventually took them to the mainland and into Launceston. Joe grew up in Launceston himself, with dirt and road bikes running through his family, riding and wrenching alongside his father and grandfather since he could walk. When the two of them went looking for a life on the coast near Bridport, this part of the North East had a way of drawing them back in. Full circle, in more ways than one.

We're hands-on, family-owned and here every single day. Joe's on the floor and in the workshop, bringing a lifetime of riding and mechanical know-how to everything we do; Tash runs the back-of-house, systems and growth. We're not corporate, and we're not absentee, we're the team behind the counter who know your name, your bike, and exactly what you need.

Don't let the population figures fool you. North East Tasmania is bike-heavy. Farming runs deep, the trails are world-class, and motorcycles aren't a hobby here, they're a way of life. We didn't buy this business to change what made it great, we bought it to build on it.
